Went to a moving show at the Ana Tzarev gallery. It was one show that affected me more than any of the recent show I visited. The imagery were powerful and moving, almost as soon as I walk into the gallery I can help but inspire by the powerful works.
The message “finding light in darkness and courage in truth” came loud and clear in the works. The artists have the risk of possible body harm to embrace the freedom of expression, and bring their visions thru their art to the rest of the world. By doing so collectively they presented a body of works that highlights injustice, battles discrimination and repression from some of the darkest region on earth. Their bravery should be honored.
Some of the imageries were disturbing, while others let their emotion flow from their canvas to your heart. I was deeply touched.
It is an unusual show. Check out their site at my link.
