New York You did it again, more outrageous idea to easy traffic congestion. Instead of come up with through idea. Our Taxi and Limo commission (TLC) just try to pluck holes, and ripe us off along the way. The latest idea of Cab sharing is one of the most stupid ideas. (PEROID).
In case you have not heard. Starting this coming Friday, Taxi from three stops along Park Ave will be picking up multiple passengers going same direction, drop them off at various point and you share fare. How does that works, no one know yet.
I took a taxi to get somewhere because I had emergency. I do not want my Taxi turn into a Mini cab that stop at every corner to drop off passengers. If I am going to take a Taxi, I don’t care if I can save myself $3 a trip that I can’t even pay for my double cheese big Mac for lunch. Especially you ran into Passenger that take their sweet time to get out of the cab, or those have no cash had to pay with credit card. God help me.
After the MTA told us there will be another fare hike, now the TLC came up with this. What else is next? What happen to my voice as a passenger? Can I flat out refuse to share ride at the three dedicated locations? If I do, they charge me for multiple fares? We already pay for waiting time if the Cab got stuck in traffic. All these agencies are very creative on coming up with ideas to ripe off passengers, except a real idea to solve the traffic problem.
I got an idea here. How about Capitalize Manhattan by ban all Cars passing thru the city, only public transport is allowed. I am not going to laugh too loud about that; it may be reality soon.
